This is a scrapbooking event that I hold every year in March, in which we make a project from start to finish, and I provide a cutting guide too!
The Notepad Holder project was created around the 8 1/2 x 11 notepad, and it measures 10 x 12 and is full of pockets to hold everything that you need. This project will make great gifts or craft fair projects that you can make for others!

A while back I done a notepad holder for the smaller notepad, and I had a lot of request to do one for the 8 1/2 x 10 paper pad. So, it is finally here guys in all its glory!
Notepad Holder measures 8 1/2 x 11 with a 1 1/2 spine made out of Kraft-tex. It has 3 pages that hold several pockets for you to put notes, embellishments, or anything that you need to keep in this holder. This project also has a place to hold your pen, so it is always right there for you to jot down notes or write a letter.
Here is a complete walk-thru of this Notepad Holder on my YouTube channel
I will be teaching you how to make this project from start to finish over on my Facebook page. It will start on Sunday March 15th at 7:00 pm CST, and classes will probably last for about 2 weeks, with 3 – 4 classes each week.
Scrappin It Up fan page on Facebook
Here is what supplies are needed to complete this project
2 – Medium-weight chipboard – covers
Kraft-tex – spine
Elastic Cording – pen holder
Tyvek – optional
Cardstock
Design paper
Double-sided adhesive tape
Glue
The reason I used Kraft-tex for the spine is so you can fold it back when you have it on your lap. It is just so flexible, and very durable material to use we are scrapbooking.
This project has so many pockets throughout this project, that it can hold a lot of material inside. In this pocket I added some envelopes to hold embellishments, and stickers that I use when I right letter or notes.
I will be decorating this project during my live classes with the wonderful Darcelle Collection from Prima Marketing.
The cutting guide is free for everyone, but just remember to give credit where credit is due.
This cutting guide doesn’t have the written instructions included because this is a free project that I’m teaching you how to make. Be sure to download or print it off, so that you will always have it.

Hi Vanessa, I was wondering if you were going to put any videos on your youtube channel? Facebook will not let me watch your live videos without downloading the app and I don’t want to do that.

Hi Vanessa, I am new to your site and i love your projects. I have been trying to access the cutting guide for the notepad holder #2 but it does not load. I see someone else had the same issue. Can you look in to this? I can hardly wait to give this a try. Thank you
Hi Cathy! I will look into it for you! I’ve had other be able to download it, not for sure what the problem is, but I will check it out! I don’t want you to miss out of this lovely project!!
I just checked it, and it works. It opens up as a PDF file, so you have to have adobe reader to open it up! I hope that helps you out Cathy!
